Practical tips

When to go: pleasant all year round. Spring and autumn offer the best conditions. In summer, the coast stays mild thanks to the ocean breeze.

Clothing: comfortable clothes and walking shoes. A light jacket is useful at Cape Spartel, which is often windy. In summer, a hat and sunscreen are recommended.

Photos: Cape Spartel and the ocean-facing opening of the Caves of Hercules are remarkable photo spots, especially in late morning. Asilah's murals look splendid in afternoon light.

For cruise passengers: the itinerary and timing adapt to your stopover. Let us know the latest return time to the port when booking, and we organise the day accordingly.
