Full day: as Rabat is about 3h from Tangier, it's a long day. Departure is early in the morning to make the most of the capital.
What to see: the Kasbah of the Oudayas (blue alleys), the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the medina and, time permitting, the Chellah necropolis.
Clothing: comfortable shoes and respectful attire for visiting religious sites (Mausoleum).
